About the event

Documentation is a crucial aspect of clinical practice, providing a comprehensive record of therapeutic interventions, progress, and client outcomes.  Join us for a half-day workshop focused on effective documentation for play therapists. We will review the ethical importance of documentation, documentation standards specific to play therapists,  elements of progress notes and treatment plans in play therapy, and practice writing notes and treatment plans. This workshop is tailored to equip participants with the necessary tools and insights to practice the art of documentation in play therapy and is best suited for those who have a foundational understanding of play therapy and are using at least some play techniques in practice. This workshop is designed for mental health professionals, counselors, and therapists seeking to enhance their skills in understanding and utilizing play as a therapeutic tool. Education hours are available for those who are working towards their Registered Play Therapist credential.
