Holly Kelly, MS, LPC-MH, NCC, RPT-S

I believe that mental health is a crucial element in living a fulfilling and satisfying life. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working through the challenges they face on a daily basis. I take pride in offering a supportive environment, where my clients can learn new skills, explore new perspectives and collaborate to improve their emotional well-being.

My goal is to create a space where you can come as you are, whatever that might look like on any given day. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, behavioral concerns or a traumatic event, I accept you just as you are and I am here for you. I work primarily with children and adolescents, and work closely with parents to help meet your child’s needs. I have advanced training in attachment-based techniques such as TheraPlay and am a certified TraumaPlay therapist.

Kendra Niklason, MA, LPC-MH, NCC, RPT

I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, teens, and their caregivers who may be experiencing a wide variety of challenges, or are wanting to develop skills to grow and flourish as an individual or a family.  I have previously worked in the K-12 school system in which I use my experience to support children in multiple environments, including the school environment.  I use a multi-modal approach to therapy, as I believe one size does not always fit all, including Adlerian Play Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral approaches, Solution Focused Techniques, and Person-Centered therapy.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™), I am equipped to meet needs of clients ages 3-young adulthood and their caregivers as applicable. I provide services in person or via telehealth. I truly believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship between client and clinician as the driving force of change. My ultimate goal is to create a safe place for children, adolescents, and teens to nurture their mental health, freely express themselves, grow, and heal.

Haley Michel, MSW, LCSW-PIP

My practice is grounded in child-centered play therapy and evidence-based approaches that help children process big emotions, build resilience, and strengthen their emotional well-being. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where children feel safe, seen, and accepted—free to explore their inner world through play at their own pace and in their own way, without pressure or judgment.

I have experience working with children who have experienced complex trauma, including exposure to intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, and other early adverse experiences. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW-PIP) and a clinician currently working toward my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) certification, I understand how trauma can impact a child’s sense of safety, their ability to regulate emotions, and how they relate to others. My approach is trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and grounded in the belief that healing begins in safe, consistent, and trusting relationships.

I also work closely with caregivers, offering tools, insights, and collaborative support to help children continue growing beyond the playroom. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children in childcare facilities, which has deepened my understanding of the vital role supportive, attuned caregivers play in a child’s emotional development and healing. Whether a child is navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, or simply big life transitions, I’m here to walk alongside them with care, consistency, and compassion.

Charlotte Heckmann, MS, LPC, NCC, RPT

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™), I specialize in working with young children, teens, and individuals entering adulthood. I am passionate about providing a compassionate, safe, and supportive space for emotional growth and healing. My approach is rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of developmental stages, ensuring that each client feels seen, heard, and respected. My experience delivering therapy within childcare settings has given me valuable insight into the daily needs and behaviors of children, allowing me to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, and caregivers. I utilize trauma-informed practices and have experience supporting individuals facing the impacts of complex trauma, domestic violence, child sexual and emotional abuse, grief and loss, heightened emotional reactivity, anxiety, and self-esteem issues.

Using play as a central tool for connection and healing, I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are - emotionally, socially, and developmentally. I support clients in building essential social skills, improving emotional regulation, and fostering healthy relationships. Whether helping a young child learn to manage big emotions or guiding a young adult through identity development and life transitions, my goal is to promote resilience, healing, and personal growth in a safe and empowering environment.
